Попробовал в своем проекте перейти с чистого rollup на наипопулярнейший сейчас vite. Vite действительно работает очень быстро, но имеет много недостатков, причем исправлять их нужно отключая возможности vite и заменяя их плагинами rollup, вобщем я доисправлялся до такого что пришел к выводу, что отключить и выкинуть нужно весь vite. Возможно он еще сырой просто, но мне кажется что лучше он не станет в ближайшие несколько лет. Почитал отзывы других разработчиков, у них оказывается то же самое. Пока твой проект соответствует представлениям разработчиков vite, то все в порядке, но чуть шаг в сторону начинаются проблемы. rollup в отличие от vite очень гибкий, можно конфигурировать как угодно.

I like Fragmenter very much. Now I have extra motivation to change. It's a big difference – just write to myself in a paper notebook, or write in order to share my thoughts.
Fragmenter is cool – I start to think once and again why I'm so depressed and how I came to be like that.
