Если жизнь такой какая она есть делает наше отношение к ней, то и нужно исследовать процесс делания этого отношения.
Как формируется отношение к чему-либо? На основе оценки происходящего.
Оценка это что? Качественная хар-ка объекта восприятия, хорошо-плохо.
Качество объекту как присваивается? Внимание распознаёт в окружающем объекты и их признаки.
Как внимание выделяет из общего поля восприятия объекты? Внимание соотносит сигналы восприятия с банком опыта и фокусируется на актуальных сигналах. Так происходит осмысление.
То есть, внимание обслуживает актуальные в опыте сигналы, формирует актуальные контексты происходящего.
По средствам внимания человек продолжает свой опыт, продолжает себя.

I like Fragmenter very much. Now I have extra motivation to change. It's a big difference – just write to myself in a paper notebook, or write in order to share my thoughts.
Fragmenter is cool – I start to think once and again why I'm so depressed and how I came to be like that.
