На Марсе когда-то были реки и озера. Озера то испарялись, то наполнялись, в зависимости от сезона, а глинистый грунт, намытый водой, осаждался.
Именно такие отложения недавно начал изучать марсоход Curiosity.
Впрочем, сейчас Марс слишком холодный и на нем слишком мало давления для того, чтобы поддерживать жидкую воду.
Даже если бы она там и появилась, она бы испарилась при тамошних 1/90 земных атмосфер.
Впрочем, при наличии достаточно больших помещений под давлением, выжить там можно было бы, если бы не излучение.
На Марсе почти нет магнитного поля, которое защищает людей от болшинства ЭМ волн, только в некоторых местах есть области магнетизма, скорее всего, из-за остаточно намагниченной руды

I like Fragmenter very much. Now I have extra motivation to change. It's a big difference – just write to myself in a paper notebook, or write in order to share my thoughts.
Fragmenter is cool – I start to think once and again why I'm so depressed and how I came to be like that.
